Beko targets premium-value gap with Feature-Packed 60cm Cooker Range
Beko is strengthening its presence in Australia’s appliance market with a new range of 60cm freestanding cookers aimed at shoppers seeking a balance between performance and affordability.
The launch comes as consumers become increasingly selective with household spending, often comparing features and value rather than automatically opting for premium-priced brands. Beko’s latest line-up includes gas, induction, ceramic and electric cooktop models, broadening its offering beyond built-in ovens and increasing its focus on the competitive mid-market segment.

A key feature across the range is AeroPerfect technology, a cooking system designed to improve airflow within the oven and maintain more consistent temperatures. While similar technology is commonly found in higher-priced appliances, Beko is positioning it within a more accessible category.
Many models also include integrated AirFry trays and SteamAdd cooking functions, reflecting growing demand for appliances that can perform multiple cooking tasks without requiring additional benchtop devices. Practical features such as telescopic shelves and SteamShine cleaning technology have also been incorporated to improve ease of use and maintenance.

With an 85-litre gross oven capacity, the range offers more cooking space than many comparable 60cm freestanding units, making it suitable for larger meals and multi-dish preparation.
Industry observers see the launch as part of a broader shift towards what could be described as accessible premium appliances, where consumers expect advanced features without the premium price tag traditionally associated with them.
