Australian Room-Acoustics Platform AudioBro Launches Globally To Help Hi-Fi And Home Theatre Owners Improve Sound
Australian-founded audio technology platform AudioBro has launched globally, targeting hi-fi and home theatre enthusiasts frustrated by systems that fail to deliver despite heavy spending on speakers, amplifiers and home entertainment equipment.
Built independently over three and a half years by founder Ateeq Sheikh, the web-based platform is designed to help users identify whether poor sound is being caused by the room, speaker placement, subwoofer setup or system calibration before they spend more money on hardware upgrades.
AudioBro uses room dimensions, photographs, speaker layouts, calibration screenshots and supported acoustic measurements to assess what may be limiting performance. The platform then prioritises the most important issue and recommends a practical first step.
Users can begin without measurement files, while more experienced enthusiasts can add data from REW, Dirac Live, Audyssey, Yamaha YPAO, Anthem ARC Genesis and Lyngdorf RoomPerfect. Pro users can also upload supported native REW .mdat projects and measurement exports for deeper analysis.

Sheikh said the platform was built around a question many enthusiasts face after investing in premium equipment.
“AudioBro was built to answer the question enthusiasts actually want answered: what should I change first, and how do I know whether it worked? The goal is a room-aware consultant that remembers the system, prioritises the next move and helps verify improvement over time,” he said.
The platform includes tools such as Photo Acoustics for visual room analysis, Tune My Sub for guided subwoofer optimisation, RoomMatch for speaker and listening-position intelligence, Fix My Room for measurement-based diagnosis, BassMap for low-frequency placement modelling and Response IQ for interpreting calibration screenshots.
AudioBro also separates predicted guidance from verified outcomes, with improvements only treated as verified after the user makes a change and completes a comparable retest.
The company claims its room-first educational content has generated more than four million views across social platforms and enthusiast communities.
AudioBro is now available globally as a web-based platform at audiobro.ai.
