Yesterday saw the specs and a supposedly confirmed September release date for the Apple Watch Series 7 leaked by a top tech tipster.
Now Nikkei Asia is reporting that Apple’s new smartwatch has been delayed due to its complicated design.
Small-scale production of the watch began last week, but has since been halted due to “difficulties in reaching satisfactory production performance.”
The company is apparently scrabbling to certify the designs before going into mass production.
Apple is yet to comment on the production issues.
