Alexa Can Make Music Playlists, All You Need To Do Is Ask

Amazon Alexa has a new update where you can ask the smart assistant to make playlists for you.

There is a catch though, it is only for those with Amazon Music.

To create a playlist users can ask while the song is playing, for example, “hey Alexa add this song to a new playlist” or “hey Alexa, add this song to my chill playlist”.

It may be only available through one streaming platform but it will only be a matter of time before users are able to use the voice commands for other music streaming platforms.

Users of Spotify and Apple Music can only ask for a song, artists, album or skip and repeat a song.

It is available from today.

The Amazon Echo, Echo Dot and Echo Plus were finally released on February 1 along with Amazon Music.
