Aiper Launches AI-Powered Robotic Pool Cleaning Duo
Smart garden technology company Aiper has unveiled a new automated pool maintenance system, combining AI and solar power to deliver what it claims is a “hands-free” cleaning experience.
The Aiper Experts Duo pairs two specialised robots – the Scuba V3 and EcoSurfer S2 – designed to work together to maintain pools continuously with minimal user intervention.
The system aims to address both underwater and surface cleaning, offering full coverage across floors, walls and waterlines.

At the core of the Scuba V3 is Aiper’s Cognitive AI Navium mode, which analyses pool size, shape, usage history and even weather conditions to optimise cleaning routes and intensity.
The company says this enables more efficient operation and reduces the need for manual oversight.
Meanwhile, the EcoSurfer S2 focuses on surface-level debris such as leaves, insects and pollen. It features solar charging capability, using what Aiper calls SolarSeeker technology to reposition itself toward sunlight when battery levels are low, extending runtime without manual charging.

The two devices are designed to operate as a coordinated system, dividing cleaning tasks to improve efficiency and reduce wear on each unit. The EcoSurfer S2 also includes a chlorine tablet chamber, allowing it to assist with water treatment while skimming debris.
Aiper founder and CEO Richard Wang said the goal is to simplify pool ownership through automation. “Pool ownership should feel effortless,” he said.
The Aiper Experts Duo is available now via the company’s website, priced at (A$1,999).
