mini 2: HTC Shrinks One M8

mini 2: HTC Shrinks One M8HTC One mini 2 has just been unveiled by the mobile company on a blog.

One M8’s little sister, mini 2 has a tightened 4.5″ HD display, 5mp front-facing camera and 13mp rear, and features HTC BlinkFeed – a constant stream of news and social updates on the homescreen.
The HTC One mini 2 also has the same BoomSound dual frontal speakers, and the Zoe 5mp camera has Touch Up software that beautifies its subjects – smoothens skin, eliminates red eye and adjusts facial contours.

HTC are also adding a Zoe Highlights and sharing app (coming in the northern summer 2014) to create, share and remix video compilations of selfies, video clips and photos.

The Remix function allows your followers to add their own photos, videos and soundtracks to create new Zoe Highlight videos.
The One mini 2 comes in the same Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver, and Amber Gold as the One mini 2’s bigger sibling, One M8, which costs about $830 outright.
The One mini 2 will  be released in Europe and Middle East and Asia starting in June with availability varying by country and region. No word on local availability or pricing, yet.
“Stay tuned for more information,” says HTC.
“Its size and tapered edges fit perfectly in a hand, pocket or purse, making it look great and feel even better to use. It’s the perfect choice for those who love the iconic design of the HTC One (M8) yet want something more compact,” said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC.
