HTC Sales Up 12%

HTC Sales Up 12% Revenue figures for April, show HTC’s sales rose 12.7% compared to April 2013, totalling NT$22.1bn.  

This is the first time in several months the phone company has recorded a significant increase in sales year-on-year. Sales also rose 36% compared to March. 
Last week, HTC posted a net loss of NT$1.88 billion for the first quarter of 2014. The Taiwanese phone giant has had a rough ride of late, battling against stalwarts like Samsung and Apple, but is hoping the release of the One M8 will reverse its fortunes. 
Total revenue January – April 2014 was NT$55.2bn, its latest financials also show.
