Click Frenzy ’13: “More Buzz”, Less IT Meltdown
Australia’s answer to Cyber Monday in the US –  Click Frenzy – is back for a second year, kicking off on Tuesday 19th November from 7pm EST, featuring exclusive deals for 24 hours only – everything from makeup, to tech goodies and appliances.  

This year, Myer, OO.com.au and Teds Cameras are just some of the tech retailers taking part as well as ApplianceSales Direct, Wireless 1, Dell, Kobo and Big W.  
AppliancesOnline also confirmed to CN it would be taking part again in this year’s event. 

Notable absentees from the retailers list are Dick Smith and Westfield. Click Frenzy were not available for comment at the time of writing. 

Last year 127 retailers took part, in total. 
Click Frenzy Co-founder Grant Arnott believe the flagship ecommerce event “is going to generate more buzz than ever,” and claims there are more big names on board for the event billed as ‘the sale that stops a nation’.  
“We’re predicting another record-setting spike for Australian e-commerce,” he said. 
Despite its inauspicious start in 2012, which saw several major retail sites go into meltdown, along with the Click Frenzy home page, a massive 2.6 million consumers scrambled to get 24-hour e-deals.  
The Internet event showed the major holes in some of the biggest brands backend IT systems. 
Click Frenzy was the catalyst for Australia’s largest single day of online shopping, in 2012.
