Winning Appliance Open Doors On New Canberra Showroom

Australian kitchen and laundry retailer Winning Appliance has expanded its retail footprint to include Canberra, with a new multi-sensory showroom opening in Kingston this week.

The new location spans more than 2600 sqm across two floors and houses 33 of the world’s most prominent appliance brands including Miele, Bosch, Smeg, ILVE and Fisher & Paykel.

Winning Appliance’s CEO David Woollcott says that the location’s heritage as the location of Canberra’s first department store directly inspired the new showroom’s “polished, industrial theme.”

“The building’s heritage tells a story and we wanted that story to live on throughout its next chapter as Winning Appliances Flagship Store,” he said.

Exclusive brands like Sub-Zero and Wolf, Siemens, Gaggenau, PITT and Highland are also stocked.

“We’re thrilled to not only bring Canberra a truly unique shopping experience, but also access to a broader range of the world’s best appliance brands,” says John Winning, CEO of the Winning Group.

“Appliance design and function has come a long way in recent years, yet few retailers have raised the bar to provide customers with an experience to match,” he said.

Winning asserts that the new showroom, which builds on the design of the retailer’s Sydney outlet, will offer a distinct focus on engaging customers with live demonstrations, cooking classes and high-quality customer service.

He says that the company’s “like our other Flagship Showrooms, Winning Appliances’ Kingston store provides the ultimate platform for Australians to see, touch and interact with the latest and greatest appliances.”
