Both receivers are network capable, offering features like 4 HDMI 1.4a inputs (with added 3D pass-through capability), Dolby Pro Logic IIz and Bluetooth connectivity via MX-Port. They’re also upgrade friendly, each with a dedicated 2.1-channel programmable preamp output. 
A series of preset equalisers are programmed into the systems, employing Audassey Dynamic Volume, Audessey Dynamic EQ and Audyssey MultEQ, taking genre and medium in mind to produce optimal sound. 
A new on screen wizard makes setting up the receivers easy, helping out with speaker connection, calibration, source set up and more. Also, with Bluetooth connectivity makes sharing files from any Bluetooth source easy. 
Marantz’s NR1602 can be streamed to, whether is through your home network or from a radio station, thanks to its in built internet radio tuner. iPhone friendly, the receiver is also compatible with Apple’s airplay technology. 
It also delivers vibrant quality sound thanks to its discrete 7x50W RMS output stages and features a front USB input. 
The Marantz NR1402 and NR1602 will retail at a respective $780 and $990.
