Updated Apple Mac Pro Tipped For June Reveal

Apple is tipped to reveal an updated version of the long-forsaken Mac Pro at the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) this June.

Previously tipped by ChannelNews, the Mac Pro has been often neglected by the global tech company, who instead focused on its now floundering iPhone.

According to a report in Bloomberg, Apple is “considering debuting a revamped Mac Pro desktop computer” at the conference, despite its usual focus on software announcements at WWDC.

A 31.6-inch 6K Apple monitor has also been tipped to be revealed at WWDC, codenamed “J290”.

The monitor reportedly uses more energy efficient mini-LED backlighting with thinner panels to improve display contrast.

As per MacRumorsrenowned Apple commentator, Ming-Chi Kuo, a 16-inch updated and redesigned MacBook Pro could also be revealed along with a 13-inch version with up to 32GB RAM.

Discontinued Thunderbolt Display

The tech company is also rumoured to be developing a Tile-like tracking device that may be released by the end of the year.

Several software updates are also expected including adding the App Store direct to the Apple Watch, adding iPad apps and Siri shortcuts to the Mac Mac, updating multitasking and the home screen of the iPad.
