Trump Talks To Techies On Huawei

US President Donald Trump has agreed to implement timely licensing decisions on blacklisted Chinese firm Huawei, after meeting CEOs from seven major technology companies at the White House.

The Trump Administration said the CEOs expressed strong support of the President’s policies, including national security restrictions on US telecom equipment purchases and sales to Huawei.

CEOs from Micron Technology, Western Digital, Qualcomm, Google, Cisco Systems, Intel and Broadcom attended the meeting.

The meeting was presided over by White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow and included senior adviser Jared Kushner, Commerce Department Secretary Wilbur Ross and Treasury Secretary Steven Muchin.
