TikTok was once again the most downloaded app in the world last month, after Instagram stole the top spot in December.

TikTok downloaded leapt to 52 million in January, quite a deal more than Instagram’s 45 million.

Facebook sits at third, with 39 million downloaded during the month.

Interestingly, Telegram is a big hit on Android platforms, with 23 million downloaded, but didn’t make the top ten for Apple users. Google’s own apps, such as YouTube, Gmail, and Google Maps all hit the Apple charts, showing that Apple users aren’t entirely walled in.

Zoom is still hanging in there, too, with 25 million downloaded in January, as workers return to offices.
