Logitech Announces Googlebook Accessory Support
Logitech has announced that several of its popular mice and keyboards will support Googlebooks when the new premium laptop category reaches stores.
At launch, compatible products will include the Logitech MX Master 4, MX Anywhere 3S, MX Keys S, MX Keys Mini, Mobi Fold and Keys-to-Go 2. Support comes through a Googlebook version of the Logi Options+ app, allowing users to customise buttons and keys for features built into Googleâs new laptop platform.
Those shortcuts can be assigned to Google features including Magic Pointer, Circle to Search and Gemini Dictation/Text, giving users quicker access to AI and productivity tools without relying entirely on on-screen controls.
Magic Pointer is one of the features Logitech is highlighting. It can be activated by moving the cursor in a particular way or assigned directly to a mouse button or keyboard key through Logi Options+. The feature provides quick access to Gemini-powered tools, including image editing and calendar actions.

Logitech is also bringing familiar features from its existing premium accessories to Googlebooks. Easy-Switch allows users to move between a Googlebook, smartphone and tablet, while Horizontal Scroll provides faster navigation through wide documents and spreadsheets.
The expanded peripheral support could be particularly useful for Googlebooks as Google attempts to establish the new platform as a premium alternative for Android users. Having established productivity accessories available from launch should also make it easier for office workers to incorporate a Googlebook into an existing desk setup.
âTeaming up with Logitech for the launch of Googlebook ensures users get a top workspace experience right out of the box,â said John Solomon of Googleâs Laptops, Tablets and Android Enterprise division.
âBy bringing physical control to features like Gemini through Logi Options+, Logitech gives people a fast intuitive way to interact with our new operating system.â
With support for some of Logitechâs most popular productivity accessories available from day one, Googlebook buyers will have more options for building a traditional desktop-style workspace around Googleâs new laptop platform.
