TCL has launched the CrystalClip wireless earbuds at Mobile World Congress, introducing an open-ear clip design alongside a premium Swarovski crystal edition.

The CrystalClip range marks TCL’s latest push into the fast-growing open-ear earbud segment.

Unlike traditional in-ear earbuds that seal the ear canal, the CrystalClip uses an air-conduction design that directs sound toward the ear without blocking external noise.

The approach is intended to improve comfort during long listening sessions while allowing users to hear environmental sounds such as traffic or announcements.

Each earbud weighs just 5.5 grams and attaches using a clip-on structure reinforced with a titanium arch bridge designed to maintain shape and durability over time. TCL says the earbuds apply a controlled clamping force to balance stability with comfort across different ear shapes.

The earbuds are powered by 10.8mm dual-magnetic dynamic drivers and support 3D spatial audio processing to create a wider soundstage for music, podcasts and video. Dual microphones with AI-powered environmental noise cancellation (ENC) are designed to improve voice clarity during calls in noisy environments.

CrystalClip also supports Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, touch controls and voice assistant integration with Siri, Google Assistant, and Google Gemini. When paired with compatible TCL smartphones, users can also access real-time translation features for multilingual communication.

Battery life is rated at up to 36 hours with the charging case, including around eight hours of playback on a single charge. A 15-minute fast charge can provide up to three hours of listening time. The earbuds are rated IPX4 for sweat and splash resistance.

TCL also revealed a special CrystalClip with Crystals by Swarovski edition. The premium model incorporates decorative crystal elements and includes a detachable rose-shaped accessory that can be worn separately as a fashion item.

The standard CrystalClip earbuds are priced at €79 (about US$90), while the Swarovski edition is expected to retail for €149 (about US$175).

Availability across Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America is expected from March 2026, with the Swarovski version arriving in the second quarter of the year.
