TCL to Launch First Inkjet-Printed 4K OLED Monitor Panel by Late 2026
TCL’s display division, CSOT (China Star Optoelectronics Technology), is set to enter the OLED monitor market, with reports indicating it will begin mass production of its first 27-inch 4K OLED panel by the end of Q3 2026.
According to industry source VisionTalk, the new panel will feature UHD resolution (3840×2160) and support 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rates.
While these specs are typically associated with gaming monitors, TCL is targeting office and professional users, aiming to deliver superior image quality, colour accuracy and viewing angles for productivity and creative tasks.
The panel utilises inkjet printing (IJP) OLED technology, which TCL CSOT first showcased at SID Display Week 2025.
This manufacturing method is expected to lower production costs and offer better scalability than traditional WOLED or QD-OLED processes.
This is a strategic move as TCL looks to expand its OLED footprint beyond TVs.

VisionTalk also reports that TCL CSOT is in early-stage talks with monitor brands to bring the panel to market, although the company has not officially confirmed the timeline or commercial partners.
If production begins as planned, monitors featuring TCL CSOT’s IJP OLED panel could debut in late 2026 or early 2027.
The news comes as TCL continues to broaden its display portfolio, having recently launched its C72K QD-Mini LED TVs in India and the Nxtpaper 11 Plus tablet in the US, both offering high refresh rate displays.
Meanwhile, TCL CSOT is also investing in a next-gen 8.6G OLED production line using inkjet printing technology, underscoring its long-term ambitions in large-scale OLED manufacturing.
