![]() Foxtel’s pay TV content keeps on adding value, with Foxtel delivering more channels to Foxtel Play users.
The latest addition sees four new channels, including BBC First, CI Crime + Investigation, Lifestyle Food and Lifestyle Home.
BBC First is part of the “Drama” package, Lifestyle Food and Home is part of the “Entertainment” package, while Crime + Investigation part of the “Documentary” package.
If you’re already subscribed to one of these packages, you’ll automatically get the relevant channels from tomorrow onwards, the 5th of August.
Foxtel’s Executive Director of Sales and Marketing, Ed Smith, said: “Foxtel Play has experienced a great period of growth since launch and we’re thrilled to expand the channel line-up for customers hungry for great programming. “BBC First has been eagerly anticipated among subscribers and is a fantastic new channel to round out our Foxtel Play offering.”
Programming highlights for BBC First during August and September include “The Musketeers, Peaky Blinders, The Politician’s Husband and Burton & Taylor”.
Lifestyle Food will see the popular “Come Dine With Me Couples” show, Lifestyle Home will feature “Selling Houses, You Live in What?”, while the Crime + Investigation channel features the show “Westbrook”.
In addition, Foxtel is increasing the availability of its “Complete Seasons” service, which gives subscribers “the opportunity to discover and catch up on hit series and new favourites”.
Over the next two months, subscribers can re-watch Orange is The New Black season 1; Girls season 1 & 2; House of Anubis season 1-3; Boardwalk Empire season 3 & 4 and True Blood season 5 & 6.
A Foxtel Play service also gives access to Foxtel Go, letting you watch Foxtel channels on selected smartphones and tablets.
Foxtel Play channels include: “BBC First, Lifestyle Food, Lifestyle Home, Crime + Investigation, FOX SPORTS 1, 2 and 3, Speed, Fuel TV, ESPN, Eurosport, Foxtel Movie channels, showcase, FOX8, Arena, Lifestyle, History, Discovery, A&E, National Geographic, FX, SoHo, MTV, Universal Channel, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Disney Channel and hundreds of catch up video on-demand titles.”
