Acer Plays Windows 8 Card

Acer has two models: a 10″ and 11.6″ The 10.1″ iconia W510 on Windows 8 is powered by Intel’s new Atom processor, has tri-mode to touch, type and view and promises up to 18 hours of battery life. Acer’s W series can also transform into a notebook with a detachable keyboard. Acer’s larger 11.6″ Iconia W700 has a Full HD touch screen (1080p) USB 3.0, comes bundled with a stand case with integrated keyboard and has Intel’s 3rd generation Core-i processor.
It also has a with a cradle adjustable for different viewing angles while offering data storage expansion and an additional battery. But it also has a high end price costing from $1199, while the 10″ Acer W510 is cheaper at at $699 Acer also announced the Aspire S7 Ultrabook with Intel Ivy Bridge processors. It will go on sale in Oz starting at $1799. The 11.6″ model is the smallest Ultrabook to feature a Full HD touch screen. It weighs 1.1kg and there’s also a 13.1″ version for $200 more. |
