In the latest edition of the SmartHouse Best of the Best Awards, it lists the best technology in the market based on their innovation, usability, design, performance and value for money.

Here are the best soundbars and soundbases enclosed in the latest edition.

Best 24 Bit Soundbar: Bluesound Pulse Soundbar

This soundbar claims to produce an “immersive sonic experience” and “bring any soundtrack to life”. It features crystal clear 24-bit resolution and audiophile – grade bass response – all without a subwoofer. It is priced at $1,799.

Best Soundbar: Yamaha Yas

The Yas is one of the first soundbars to boast DTS Virtual:X compatibility; thereby providing consumers with virtual 3D surround sound. It can be placed in front of TV or wall mounted. It costs $599.

Best Soundbase: Sonos Playbase Soundbase

It features ten amplified internal drivers (six mid-range, three tweeters and one woofer) offering “deeper booms, crystal clear whispers and huge waves of sound”. It is priced at $999.

Best Value Soundbar: Q Acoustics M2

The M2 has 180-degree sound technology where the whole room can witness clear sound. It also has a MoviEQ function for increased base for the cinema experience. It is priced at $600.
