Samsung S20 Range: Full Specs Leaked

Korean-based global tech giant Samsung are set to announce the Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra on February 11 – but it hasn’t stopped numerous leaks in the weeks leading up to the big event.

The highly anticipated flagship family has now had a full spec sheet leak, impacting Europe and other areas that Samsung doesn’t use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipsets.

The Galaxy S20 model features a 6.2-inch 1440×3200 Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED screen with 20:9 aspect ratio alongside a centred punch hole, hosting a 10-megapixel camera, supported for 4K video recording at 60fps.

The panel also supports 120Hz refresh rate, but if rumours are true – customers will have to select between that or the maximum resolution – as it will only be available if customers switch to the lower 1080×2400.

The S20 is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 990 chipset that’s built with a 7nm process, has 128GB of storage that is also expendable via microSD. There has been no mention on RAM amount, but early speculation suggests 12GB being standard.

Additionally, the S20 also carries three cameras on the back, a 12MP wide, a 64MP telephoto capable of 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom, as well as a 12MP ultrwide camera. Owners will also be able to record 8K videos at 30fps.

The smartphone will also be equipped with Dolby Atmos stereo speakers by AKG – a 4,000 mAh battery, IP68 water and dust resistance, and it runs Android 10 with One UI 2.0. Its dimensions are 152x86x7.9mm, weighing 164g.

The Galaxy S20+ is equipped with a handset similar to the S20, but bigger and with an additional ToF 3D camera on the back. Its display is 6.7-inches with the same resolution, design and refresh rate as the S20’s, with a 4,500 mAh battery.

Its dimensions are 162x74x7.8mm, weighing a total 188g.

Finally, the Galaxy S20 Ultra is even bigger, equipped with a 6.9-inch display, with the same features as the S20 panel, including refresh rate and resolution.

In addition, there’s a 512GB storage option and a sturdy 5,000 mAh battery. The camera system differs too – the selfie camera in the centered punch-hole is 40MP – still supporting the 4K60 video.

On the back, a 108MP main wide sensor camera features, alongside a 48MP telephoto and a 12 MP ultrawide – with a ToF 3D camera as well.

Owners will have a 10x optical zoom and 167x76x8.8mm and weighs a hefty 221g. All other features mirror the S20.
