Samsung Planning First WOLED PC Monitors for 2026 Launch
Samsung is planning to launch WOLED-based PC monitors in 2026, marking a departure from the company’s exclusive use of its own QD-OLED technology in current OLED monitors, according to Chinese outlet Channelgate via WCCFTech.
The 2026 monitor models include S27HG612SC (27″ G61SH), S27HG802SC (27″ G80SH), S32HG802SC (32″ G80SH), and S27HG702WC (27″ G70SH).
Model names align with earlier reporting that Samsung is skipping ‘G’ for its 2026 OLED TVs, jumping to ‘H’ with S95H, S90H, and S85H.
The 27-inch Samsung G70SH, reportedly scheduled for launch around June 2026 (Week 20), is expected to be the first Samsung monitor using a WOLED panel, featuring 4K resolution and dual-mode 165/330Hz refresh rates.
The panel source remains uncertain. LG Display seems plausible as it already produces dual-mode OLED panels, including large panels with 165/300Hz capability.

However, in August, Korean outlet The Elec reported Samsung is in discussions with Chinese display maker BOE about supplying WOLED panels for Samsung monitors, with Samsung also asking whether BOE could supply WOLED panels for future TVs.
Week 1 brings S27FG604SC, a 2K 500Hz QD-OLED monitor derivative of the G60SF series.
Week 6 introduces S27HG612SC, a 2K 240Hz QD-OLED model as a simplified upgrade of the G61SD series with height-adjust/rotation stand removed.
Week 17 launches S27HG802SC and S32HG802SC, both 4K 240Hz QD-OLED monitors, adding 90W USB-C power delivery and DisplayPort 2.1 upgrade compared to G80SD.
All current Samsung OLED monitors use Samsung’s own QD-OLED panels.
For TVs, Samsung uses both QD-OLED and WOLED panels depending on model and size, as Samsung Display currently lacks the capacity to fully meet Samsung Electronics’ OLED TV demand.
The OLED monitor market is expected to grow 86% in 2025 compared to 2024, according to TrendForce.
