Samsung has launched its latest Galaxy devices, introducing the Galaxy S25 FE smartphone and Galaxy Tab S11 series tablets – both powered by the company’s growing Galaxy AI ecosystem.

The new Galaxy S25 FE is being pitched as the most affordable way into Samsung’s Galaxy AI lineup, offering much of the performance of its flagship phones at a lower price point.

It’s designed for everyday use, with voice, touch and visual input working together so users can, for example, have an article summarised, translate text in real time, or streamline routine tasks.

On the productivity front, Samsung also launched the Galaxy Tab S11 series, led by the ultra-slim Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra – now the thinnest Galaxy tablet ever at just 5.1mm.

The new range has been built with mobile professionals, students and creatives in mind, blending pro-grade hardware with Samsung’s most advanced AI tools.

Running on One UI 8, the Tab S11 series takes advantage of multimodal AI, allowing users to type, speak or show the device something with the camera and get intelligent responses instantly.

Features such as Writing Assist and Drawing Assist streamline workflows, while Circle to Search with Google delivers real-time translations and contextual search directly from the screen.

The redesigned S Pen now offers improved tilt control and ergonomics, with a hexagonal shape that feels more like a pencil in the hand.

It’s built for both note-taking and creative work, while features like Quick Tools and Sticky Notes cut down on app switching to keep things moving smoothly.

Samsung has also overhauled Samsung DeX with Extended Mode, enabling a true dual-screen setup when connected to an external monitor. Users can now create up to four custom workspaces, making it easier to separate professional projects from personal tasks.

The S11 series is powered by Samsung’s new 3nm processor, with significant boosts to CPU, GPU and NPU performance. The Dynamic AMOLED 2X display delivers up to 1600 nits of peak brightness, while an upgraded battery ensures all-day productivity.

Australian buyers will also get access to exclusive partnerships with apps like Goodnotes, Clip Studio Paint, Notion and LumaFusion – many bundled with free trials or discounts.

The Galaxy Tab S11 series launches locally on 26 September, with pre-orders starting 5 September. Prices begin at $1,399 for the Tab S11 Wi-Fi model, while the Tab S11 Ultra starts at $2,099. Pre-order bonuses include storage upgrades or a complimentary Book Cover Keyboard Slim at selected retailers.
