Samsung Galaxy S26 Launch Delayed, Could Miss January Window
Samsung’s much-anticipated Galaxy S26 series may not arrive as early as expected, with reports suggesting a delay could push the launch from January into late February or even March 2026.
Traditionally, Samsung unveils its Galaxy S flagship lineup at the start of the year, but sources in Korea indicate that production of the S26 series has been disrupted.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is reportedly scheduled for mass production in December, while the Galaxy S26 and S26+ are set to follow in January, later than initially planned.
The delay appears linked to changes in the lineup.

The previously expected Galaxy S26 Edge has reportedly been cancelled, with Samsung opting to focus on the S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra.
Insiders suggest the move is part of a broader strategy to streamline its flagship range and reinforce branding consistency.
Despite the setback, expectations remain high for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which is rumored to feature next-generation Exynos or Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipsets, improved cooling and enhanced AI features for photography, battery management, and real-time translation.
The delay could also impact the competitive landscape, giving rivals like Apple, Xiaomi, and OnePlus a window to strengthen their early-year offerings.
