Samsung Debut New Phone With Old-School Removable Battery

Samsung have stepped back to move forward, debuting a new smartphone with a removable battery, a feature not seen in the market for a long time.

But this isn’t a phone in the brick style you may equate with a removable battery. For the Korean market, the rugged and budget-priced Galaxy Xcover Pro features a 5.3″ LCD display as well as a water and dust resistant body rated IP68.

As for the replaceable battery, it’s 3000 mAh, which gives it enough juice to last all day, and supports a quick charge rate of up to 15W.

Continuing the future/retro theme, the phone also has a microSD card slot (up to 1TD) and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
