Razer Soft Launch New Gaming Laptop, Supplies Limited

Razer have launched their latest 14-inch gaming laptop for Australian customers via an early bird sale taking place today.

ChannelNews previously reviewed the 2016 Razer Blade and called it “a product that’s easy to call one of the best gaming laptops you can buy.”

This refreshed version of Razer’s award-winning laptop offers an updated Kaby-Lake CPU, faster memory and a new 4K UHD screen option. The company says that it achieves double digit improvements in performance over its predecessor.

“The Razer Blade sets the benchmark for performance in thin laptops,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO.

“More users embraced this flagship computer model in 2016 than ever before, and we are excited to make it even more available worldwide this year. Beyond gaming, it has been really gratifying to see people enjoying the power and portability of the Blade for video editing, music creation and software development,” he said.

It’s the first time Razer have run an official pre-sale event exclusively for Australian customers.

Speaking with ChannelNews, Razer have confirmed that the laptop will be making its way to Microsoft stores at a date following the online pre-sale.

The new notebook comes will cost AU$2,799.95 and goes on sale at 1PM.
