Q Acoustics Introduces Largest & Most Powerful Subwoofer Yet

Q Acoustics have announced its latest Q B12 subwoofer, which is the company’s largest and most powerful yet.

Australian pre-orders are available now for $1,299 from authorised dealers, with the subwoofers set to be shipped out in mid-November.

The first in Q Acoustics latest range of “ultra-powerful” subwoofers, the Q B12 is company’s the first to feature a 12” driver and is powered by an ultra-low distortion 22-watt Class D amplifier that promises to deliver “tight, powerful bass response”.

The largest and most powerful from the company so far, it comes with an active limiter and the amplifier’s proprietary PurePath Ultra-HD technology.

The Q B12 has a ‘dart brace’ internal design inside the subwoofer’s 36mm reinforced MDF cabinet, providing superior mechanical stability to the driver, but the reinforced rigidity reduces resonance and vibrations for an improved, accurate bass response.

It is designed to integrate and complement the award-winning Q Acoustics 3000i and Concept 5.1 speaker range.

Additionally, the Q B12 will be available in three home cinema packages or can be purchased individually for those wanting to boost the low-end audio on their existing set-up.

The Q B12 is finished in black or white, high gloss or vinyl and will fit seamlessly into a new or existing home cinema set up.
