Light Up Your Desk With Razer Firefly V2

Razer has launched its latest RGB mousepad, a brand new ultra-thin mouse mat, designed to bring 16.8 million colours and brilliant performance to your office or gaming setup.

Already on sale from Razer’s website, the Firefly V2 Mouse Mat is available for US$49.99, though no word yet on Australian availability or pricing at this stage.

Measuring at just 355mm by 255mm, the thinner and brighter mouse mat will ‘illuminate your battle station’ with Chroma RGB lighting effects, that promise over 16.8 million colours that can be customised in a myriad of ways through the Razer Synapse 3 software.

Nineteen individual lighting zones can be controlled through the software, with every side of the Firefly V2 covered in glorious RGB lighting, an increase from the 15 zones available in the V1.

Razer has engineered a micro-textured surface that has been calibrated for all mouse sensors, with lab testing to ensure pixel-precise tracking for greater accuracy in mouse movements.

The pad comes with built-in cable management, with Cable Catch that prevents your mouse cable from being entangled, reducing drag for smoother swiping.

At just 3mm in thickness, the Firefly V2 is thin enough for your wrist to rest comfortably on the desk, with an anti-slip rubber base to keep the mat in place.

Unfortunately, unlike the Razer Firefly Hyperflux combo, the V2 does not come with wireless charging.
