Product Safety Australia Recalls Amplifi HD Mesh Wireless Kit

Product Safety Australia has recalled Amplifi HD Mesh Wireless Kit, as there is a defect where the mesh point extender that plugs into a wall socket may split open exposing live parts, thereby posing a risk of electric shock. The Amplifi router (AFI-R) is not affected.

Supplied by LEADER Systems Pty Ltd, and was sold by various IT resellers, computer stores, and retail outlets nationwide from January 1st 2018 and September 11th 2018.

Consumers are advised to cease using the wireless kit immediately. Turn the power off at the wall socket outlet first, remove the mesh point carefully, and repackage those items.

Contact the place of purchase or LEADER directly on 1300 789 701, or email vic.ra@leadersystems.com.au(link sends e-mail) or warranty@leadersystems.com.au(link sends e-mail), to organise a replacement unit.
