Fresh leaks of Google’s upcoming Pixel 11 suggest the company is sticking with a familiar design language for a third consecutive year, with only modest visual and hardware updates expected when the device launches in August.

CAD-based renders published by Android Headlines and leaker OnLeaks indicate the Pixel 11 will closely resemble its predecessors, the Pixel 10 and Pixel 9, retaining the signature camera bar and rounded chassis that have become synonymous with Google’s smartphone lineup.

But the leaks point to a handful of refinements. The rear camera bar appears slimmer and less protrusive, while the display is tipped to feature noticeably thinner bezels, giving the handset a cleaner, more modern look.

Some renders also suggest Google may adopt a fully blacked-out camera bar, replacing the previous two-tone finish.

Despite these tweaks, the overall dimensions are reportedly unchanged at roughly 152.8 x 72 x 8.5mm.

The device is expected to run Google’s next-generation Tensor G6 chip, alongside 12GB of RAM.

Notably, base storage is still rumoured to start at 128GB – a potential sticking point as rivals like Apple and Samsung have shifted to 256GB standard in their latest flagship devices.

Other reported features include a 6.3-inch OLED display and a possible switch to a MediaTek modem, signalling a departure from Samsung connectivity components.

Pricing remains unconfirmed, though Google is likely to aim for a similar starting point to the Pixel 10, which launched at A$1,349 for the base model.

With Google previously indicating a broader design refresh cycle every two to three years, a more substantial overhaul may now be pushed to the Pixel 12 in 2027.
