US online exercise company Peloton has finally announced it will officially launch in Australia on July 14.
The company is bringing its more expensive bikes to the market here but not the much-troubled treadmill which is being investigated in the US over safety concerns.
Peloton’s operations in Australia will be headed by former Spotify Australia CEO, Karen Lawson.
Peloton bikes will retail in Australia for $2895 to $3695, along with a $59 a month subscription fee.
Peloton will also launch a $16.99 a month app to track performance on generic exercise bikes and activities like yoga and running and cross training.
