The Paris AV Show 2025 wrapped up just two weeks ago and it’s already being hailed as the new benchmark for global audio exhibitions, with some tipping it to soon surpass Munich’s High-End event.

Staged at the Palais des Congrès, the show showcased cutting-edge tech featuring live DJ sets and immersive demos.

Several brands made a big impact at the event.

Devialet made a big comeback with the Phantom Ultimate 108dB (pictured below). The oval speaker is powered by Devialet’s proprietary SAM, AVL and HBI technologies. A partnership with Hisense on future home cinema systems signals a major expansion for the French brand in 2026.

Elipson unveiled its Legacy II loudspeakers, featuring the distinctive resin sphere housing for the midrange and AMT tweeter. The flagship 3230 impressed with its airy presentation and dynamic clarity, alongside smaller 3220 and 3210 models.

Yamaha showcased the True X 90A Surround system, a powerful, cinematic setup that brought Hollywood demos to life. Its new YH-C3000 and YH-4000 headphones also drew crowds. Both are paired with Yamaha’s HA-L7A amp.

Focal impressed with the Diva Mezza Utopia, an elevated take on its 2024 model. Now boasting 500W of Naim-powered performance, the speaker offers impressive control and scale. Alongside it, the new Bathys Black hinted at Focal’s growing strength in premium wireless audio.

WiiM’s long-awaited Sound wireless speaker and Sub Pro Active finally debuted, positioned as true challengers to Apple’s HomePod.

Advance Paris marked its 30th anniversary with the APEX amplifier range – premium, HDMI ARC-enabled amps built for modern hi-fi integration.

Meanwhile, Sonus faber impressed with the Amati Supreme, a 4.5-way floorstander offering 600W of Italian artistry and sonic muscle.
