Bowers & Wilkins Launches Flagship 707 Prestige Edition In Australia
Bowers & Wilkins has launched its new 707 Prestige Edition bookshelf loudspeaker in Australia, positioning it as the flagship compact model in the company’s 700 Series range.
Priced at $3,199 a pair, the new model builds on the existing 707 S3 platform while borrowing selected components from the higher-end 705 S3 Signature.
The two-way, vented-box speaker features a 25mm Carbon Dome tweeter and a 130mm Continuum cone bass/midrange driver, housed behind a curved front baffle.

Bowers & Wilkins has also added an optimised high-frequency tweeter grille mesh and upgraded low-loss speaker terminals, which the company claims deliver improved resolution and a wider, more spacious soundstage compared with the standard 707 S3.
The Prestige Edition is available exclusively in a ‘Santos Gloss’ finish inspired by the Santos Rosewood used on the earlier 805 D3 Prestige Edition.

The cabinet is finished with 12 layers of paint and lacquer, while a unique rear logo plate distinguishes the model from the rest of the 700 Series range.
The compact speaker also incorporates technologies derived from Bowers & Wilkins’ premium 800 Series Diamond range, which is used in professional recording studios.
Optional FS-700 S3 floorstands are available separately in black or silver for buyers who prefer a stand-mounted setup.
