Three new budget Bluetooth headphones are on the way from Panasonic including sports, over-ear and in-ear models.
With pricetags just shy of $100, the new headphones could represent a more affordable option for those seeking the flexibility of Bluetooth.
Panasonic’s RP-BTS10E Sport Wireless Earphones pack a 14.3mm Neodymium driver unit with ‘Bass Boost’ and four hours of battery life into a light 22-gram frame.
Featuring a “naturally fitting design” and adjustable ear clips, the IPX2 water-resistant earphones are made to be worn on the move, and will be available in black, white, yellow or blue.
Making up Panasonic’s over-ear offering is the RP-HF400BE, which are described as “take-anywhere” headphones with a swiveling foldable design for easy portability.
The company say that a 30mm drive unit and Acoustic Bass control filter, along with the Neodymium magnet, enhances the audio quality of the headphones.
Black and white versions of the RP-HF400BE will be available, and a quick 20-minute charge for 120 minutes of playback a compliment to the headphones’ 20-hour battery life.
Rounding out the new Bluetooth headphones is the RP-NJ300B in-ear headphones.
“Full bodied bass and crystal clear treble is delivered by the 9mm driver, and the lightweight Ergofit design offers over four hours playback on a full charge or one hour playback on a quick 20-minute charge,” Panasonic said.
The RP-NJ300B will be available in black, white and blue.
All of the new headphones are priced at $99.95 and will be available from leading consumer electronics retailers from mid-August.
