Ninja Strengthens Coffee Machine Push With Coffee Expo Debut
Ninja has made its first appearance at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo, marking a significant step in its move into the home coffee market following its late 2025 launch. The brand used the event to introduce visitors to its approach, focusing on making café-style coffee more accessible without removing the hands-on experience many users enjoy.
At the centre of its showcase was the Ninja Luxe Café Premier Espresso Machine designed to handle espresso, cold brew and filter coffee in one system. Demonstrations highlighted how built-in guidance can simplify traditionally complex steps such as extraction and milk texturing, while still allowing manual control for more experienced users.

The display combined interactive elements with tastings, giving attendees a chance to explore different recipes and better understand the machine’s flexibility. Feedback suggested growing interest from consumers who want to move beyond pod systems but feel uncertain about fully manual equipment.
Ninja’s development process included international research and local testing, with features tailored to suit Australian and New Zealand coffee preferences. Early response from both retailers and users has been strong, particularly around the balance of functionality and ease of use.
With a retail price of $799, the machine has helped the company quickly establish a foothold in the category, with further models expected later this year.
Speaking of the Ninja Luxe Café, one has just been delivered to the office. Stay tuned for my review.
