Ninety7 Gives Smart Speakers The Battery Google Should Have
A smart home accessory brand has given Google’s Home and Home Mini speaker the cordless functionality Google should have just included from the start.
“Lifestyle technology” company Ninety7 has released rechargeable battery bases for the two smaller Google Home speakers, allowing users to move them wirelessly around their home.
The LOFT (A$69.95) and JOT (A$59.95) battery bases for the Home and Home Mini respectively are claimed to give the two Assistant speakers up to eight hours of cordless power.
The speakers slide into the battery base, which is recharged using the existing charger, eliminating the need to take the speakers out of the base to charge.
Four LED lights give battery life status.
The LOFT base is available in Carbon, Snow, and Copper colours, while the smaller JOT base is available in Carbon and Silver.
Ninety7’s battery bases can be found at JB Hi-Fi and other retailers.
