New Sony PS4 Neo Gaming Console To Go On Sale In October

Sony will reveal their new PS4 Neo gaming console at a gala event in New York in September.

The new Sony offering will go on sale at JB Hi Fi and EB Games along with other in October.

The PS4 Neo, is an upgraded version of the PS4 capable of upscaling games to 4K resolution.

Many gamers expected the console to be unveiled at E3 2016, but Sony quietly confirmed the console in an interview with The Financial Times in the UK but said little else on the matter.

According to a recent report by Giant Bomb, the PS4 Neo will feature an upgraded CPU, GPU and increased RAM. It is still unclear whether or not the Neo will also receive an exterior redesign as well.

One source described the upcoming New York event as a “technical showcase” for Sony’s hardware, suggesting that we may see the console in action next month.
