New SmartHouse Online
4 Square Media, today launched a brand-new SmartHouse website that is designed to give consumers a unique insight into consumer electronic products and appliances.
We’ve also introduced a new ranking system for our reviews which will be conducted by several journalists from around the world. The site has been designed to deliver information in an easy to read format while also delivering easy navigation from one story to another.
The SmartHouse website first went live in 2002 many of our stories and in particular our review is have attracted millions of consumers. A shootout between three TV brands attracted over 2.7 million readers, it is still our #1 review, while one of our reviews attracted over 2.3 million readers interested in the latest Samsung smartphone.
The digital magazine version of SmartHouse is distributed to over 3 million consumers, whether you are a JB Hi Fi customer or you fly on virgin Australia or Qantas readers can now get access to the latest consumer electronic information and in coming weeks we will announce several new distribution channels for this publication.
Our primary objective is to reach those people who are researching a product or service prior to making an online or in store purchase. Deloitte research shows that 67% of consumers are now researching online prior to making a purchase many of these consumers are also visiting websites such as SmartHouse to obtain third-party endorsement or information on a consumer electronics product.
In coming months, we will expand the SmartHouse website to include additional services.
Manufacturers and distributors who use our Webcollage content delivery system will be able to link a review directly with a retail SKU so that consumers can get additional information on the product they are considering to purchase.
In addition we introduce a manufactures area where consumers can search for product information direct from the people making or distributing a product in Australia.
