New Android Update To Have iPhone X Notch

The upcoming Android update might have a notch, similar to the iPhone X as Google is focusing on ‘overhauling’ its Android mobile software.

A Report by Bloomberg say this overhaul is to try and get more iPhone users to switch to Android devices, by improving the look of the software.

A person close to the matter says the update also includes more tight integration on the Google Assistant, improvement on battery life, supporting new designs including a foldable design.

Bloomberg says the notch means room for cameras and other sensors, supporting new features and helping Android keep up with Apple technology.

Adding the notch could mean Android has a way into the high-end market as Bloomberg says it dominates the lower-end of the smartphone market.

The new update which could be named Android Pistachio Ice Cream should be released later this year.

Reports say iPhone X sales were low due to this infamous notch which many customers expressed their distaste for it.
