Motorola has partnered with luxury brand Swarovski to launch The Brilliant Collection, headlined by a crystal-studded Motorola Razr.

Retailing at US$1,000 (A$1,500), the limited-edition bundle includes the revamped Razr in a new ‘Pantone Ice Melt’ finish and a matching pair of Moto Buds Loop, both adorned with Swarovski crystals.

The handset features 35 hand-set crystals across its 3D quilted, leather-inspired casing, including a prominent 26-facet gem embedded in the hinge.

The Moto Buds Loop, previously released in ‘French Oak’, now come in the same Ice Melt colourway, blending luxury design with open-ear audio engineered with Sound by Bose.

Specs-wise, this is the standard 2025 Razr, featuring a 3.6-inch cover screen, 6.9-inch foldable AMOLED main display, MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chip, 4,500mAh battery, and a 50MP main camera.

While some might have expected the blinged-out treatment for the flagship Razr Ultra, Motorola has instead chosen to glam up its entry-level foldable – possibly a strategic move to target fashion-conscious users at a more accessible price point.

The new Razr and Buds will be available globally from August 7 via Motorola, Amazon, and Best Buy, with a wider carrier release on August 15.

Motorola says The Brilliant Collection marks the first of several curated product releases under the new Motorola Collections banner.
