Official: Surface Pro 3 OZ Date Announced

Microsoft’s hybrid which is a combination of tablet and notebook, will arrive at Australian retailers including JB Hi Fi, Harvey Norman and Dick Smith on the 28th of August the entry level cost is $979 up to over $2,000 for a 512GB model.
Pre-ordering is available from the Microsoft Australia store product, the new Surface Pro will be shipped on August 28.

Microsoft is also offering those who pre-order from its site a bonus $25 Gift Card for use in the Windows App Store. 
Australia is one of 25 countries to see retail availability of the Surface Pro 3. 
The other 24 countries include Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Luxembourg, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Kingdom.

At the Surface BlogMicrosoft says a dedicated Surface Pro 3 docking station will be available in the US for US $199.99 from August 15, with other countries due to receive stocks of the dock by the end of September. 
The blog also has a 3-minute video from Surface Corporate VP, Panos Panay, on “what makes Surface Pro 3 unique”. 
Announced in May 2014, Microsoft says its Surface Pro 3 is “the tablet that can replace your laptop”, and is “one great device for both work and play-for entertainment and for getting things done”. 
Promising power, portability and maximised productivity, it has “all the performance of a laptop in an incredibly lightweight, versatile form factor”.
