Marshall Rolls Out Stockwell III Speaker With 40-Hour Battery Life and User-Replaceable Battery
Marshall has refreshed its portable Bluetooth speaker line with the launch of the Stockwell III, the first major update to the Stockwell range in seven years.
The new speaker keeps Marshall’s familiar guitar amp-inspired design, complete with a PU leather carry strap, brass control panel, textured silicone sleeve and metal grilles, but adds a series of practical upgrades aimed at portability and longevity.
The headline improvement is battery life, which has doubled from around 20 hours on the Stockwell II to more than 40 hours on the new model.
Marshall has also improved durability, with the Stockwell III carrying an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.

The speaker features Marshall’s True Stereophonic technology, designed to deliver 360-degree sound, along with dynamic loudness processing to balance bass, mids and treble at different volume levels.
Users can adjust audio settings directly from the top control panel, skip tracks and access presets via a dedicated M-button.
In a notable move, Marshall has made several parts user-replaceable, including the battery, carry strap, front and rear grilles, silicone sleeve and carrying case.

It comes as user-replaceable batteries are set for a comeback under tough new European Union rules taking effect from February next year.
The Stockwell III also supports USB-C charging and can double as a power bank for other devices.
Marshall’s Stockwell III is priced at A$359 in Australia and is available in black and brass and cream finishes.
