Marshall Expand Wireless Speaker Line

Two new Marshall speakers will soon go on sale as the brand looks to use its iconic name to expand further into consumer electronics.

The Stockwell II ($399) and Tufton ($649) will join the already released Kilburn II ($499), with stock expected to hit stores early next month.

The speakers take design inspiration from Marshall’s iconic amplifiers, with metal grilles featuring the brand’s script lettering and physical knobs for fine-tuning how the speakers sound.

All the speakers in the range promise more than 20 hours playtime and feature Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX for near-CD quality.

The Stockwell II also acts as a power bank and has an IPX4 water-resistance rating.

The Kilburn II and the Tufton both have IPX2 ratings.

Marshall claim the top of the range Tufton is one of the largest consumer grade portable speakers on the market, and features a 3-way configuration of drivers to deliver powerful sound.

The speaker is powered by four class D amplifiers capable of delivering a combined total of 80 watts.

The range use Blumlein Stereo Sound construction techniques to help create a wider soundstage and multi-directional sound.
