Logitech is making a significant change to its senior leadership team, appointing company veteran Yalcin Yilmaz as Chief Commercial Officer from April 1, 2026.

Yilmaz takes over from Quin Liu, who is stepping away after 16 years with the business. The transition marks a shift from one long-serving executive to another, with Yilmaz bringing more than two decades of experience inside Logitech.

Based in Basel, Yilmaz joined the company in 2004 and has worked his way through a range of roles spanning sales, marketing and general management. His most recent position saw him leading operations across Europe and Asia Pacific developed markets, where he was involved in driving regional growth and launching major brand initiatives such as Logitech G PLAY and Logi WORK.

In his new role, he will oversee Logitech’s global commercial operations, including its go-to-market strategy across both consumer and business divisions. That remit covers everything from enterprise sales to retail, e-commerce and direct channels, placing him at the centre of how the company positions and sells its products worldwide.

The appointment also reflects a degree of continuity in Logitech’s leadership approach. Rather than bringing in an external hire, the company has opted for someone deeply embedded in its structure and partner ecosystem. That familiarity is likely to be important as Logitech continues to balance growth across multiple categories, from consumer peripherals to business-focused solutions.

Liu’s departure closes a lengthy chapter for the company. During her tenure, Logitech expanded its global footprint and built out its commercial organisation, leaving behind what executives describe as a strong internal talent pipeline.

Yilmaz now steps into the role at a time when global technology companies are navigating shifting demand, evolving retail dynamics and increased competition across both consumer and enterprise markets. His challenge will be to maintain growth momentum while adapting Logitech’s commercial strategy to a rapidly changing landscape.
