LG To Show Upgraded V30 At MWC

LG is slated to debut a new and improved V30 smartphone at this year’s MWC, which according to reports will be fitted with advanced AI technology.

The Korea Herald reports the new version could be named “V30+‘α’’.

It also predicts Google Assistant could be embedded into the device as LG has a growing relationship with Google.

The company announced earlier this month it would axe its current smartphone strategy meaning it would stop producing phones every year and only release when necessary.

Right now JB Hi-Fi is selling the LG V30+ with a $200 discount coming down to $999.
