LG Suspends Shipping To Russia

LG Electronics has suspended shipments to Russia, due to what the company politely calls “offshore logistics.”

LG said it is “suspending all shipments to Russia and will continue to keep a close watch on the situation as it unfolds.”

“We are deeply concerned for the health and safety of all people, and LG remains committed to supporting humanitarian relief efforts.”

Many major marine shipping businesses, including Hapag-Lloyd AG of Germany and Maersk of Denmark, have already stopped shipping to Russia.

Samsung suspended shipping to Russia earlier this month.

LG is still operating its home appliance and TV manufacturing factories in Ruza, 100kms west from Moscow, but is expecting parts shortages to impact these operations.
