Despite the company leaving the mobile market in April last year and not having made a tablet since the G Pad 10.1 in 2019, LG has announced the launch of the Ultra Tab, an affordable Android 12 tablet that will be released to succeed the G Pad Series.
At the heart of the new tablet is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC running Android 12 right out of the box, powering its 10.35-inch, 2K display and quad speaker system.
The LG Ultra Tab boasts a massive 7,040mAh battery and support for 25W fast charging, as 64GB of storage which can be expanded with a microSD card. On the back you’ll find an 8MP autofocus camera whilst the front has a 5MP fixed focus camera.
For those prone to fumbles, the LG Ultra Tab is MIL-STD-810G military grade durability certified and is offered with a Folio case and Wacom Stylus pen. It supports both Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Currently, the LG Ultra Tab is only available in South Korea at 426,000 KRW (roughly $473 AUD), but is expected to launch worldwide in the near future.
