A leaked deal from Google revealed the company will throw in a free Pixel Watch 2 with every pre–order of a Pixel 8 Pro.  

Additionally, rumoured details have also surfaced surrounding the Watch 2, with a leaked promotional video that appeared to confirm details about the Watch 2, including offering 24 hour battery life, stress and skin temperature detection, and a continuous electrodermal activity sensor. 

Additionally, it’s expected to feature automatic workout detection for seven workouts, including running and outdoor cycling.  

As for the new deal, it may soften the blow of the rumoured price hike for the Pixel 8 Pro, which is tipped to start retailing at $999 USD. Australia could possibly see an even higher price tag. There are even rumours that at least for business customers, the Pixel 8 Pro may sell for $899 USD, the original price of the 7 Pro. 

The Made by Google launch event will be taking place on October 4th, so it won’t be long before these rumours could see the light.Â
