Leak Points To Apple’s 2027 iPhone Lineup And Second Foldable
Apple’s 2027 iPhone plans have reportedly emerged in a new leak, offering an early look at the devices that could arrive after next year’s expected iPhone 18 Pro launch.
According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, Apple’s 2027 lineup will include the iPhone Air 2, iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e, with all three expected to feature OLED displays. The leak also claims Apple has already begun development work on its future iPhone 19 range and a second-generation foldable iPhone.
The iPhone Air 2 is tipped to feature a 6.55-inch display with a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, while the standard iPhone 18 is expected to include a slightly smaller 6.3-inch LTPO panel running at the same refresh rate. The more affordable iPhone 18e is said to retain a 6.12-inch OLED display but use a 60Hz LTPS panel instead.
The reported specifications align with earlier rumours suggesting Apple will split its iPhone launches across two release windows. The company is widely expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and its first foldable iPhone in late 2026, with the standard iPhone 18 family arriving several months later in early 2027. If accurate, the iPhone Air 2 would launch alongside those devices.
The leak also suggests Apple has progressed to early testing and prototype development of what is currently referred to as the iPhone 19 Pro series. Although the name has not been finalised, the report indicates Apple is already working on hardware for the generation expected to follow the iPhone 18 range.

Apple is also believed to be developing its second foldable smartphone. According to the report, display testing has already begun, with previous rumours indicating the next foldable could feature a larger display than the first-generation model.
In the meantime, attention remains on the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro range. Previous reports have suggested the flagship models could introduce a variable aperture camera system and upgraded image sensors, further widening the gap between Apple’s standard and Pro smartphones.
As with all early leaks, Apple’s plans remain unconfirmed and could change before any of these devices are officially announced.
