Kogan Massage Gun Recalled Over Fire Risk

Energy Safe (VIC) on behalf of Product Safety Australia has recalled a Kogan-branded rechargeable handheld massage gun, following battery issues and the risk of fire.

The Kogan Muscle Therapy Brushless Massage Gun (SKU: KAMTMSGGUNA) was sold nationally and internationally via Kogan and Dick Smith between June – September 2020.

Product Safety Australia has advised the massage gun has a battery defect, which could cause it to fail and ignite during charging or use.

Hazards include the risk of fire or burns, with consumers urged to unplug and cease use immediately.

Kogan Australia is set to contact affected consumers to offer a full refund, and arrange for product disposal.
