Jaybird Partner With Spotify On New App Feature

Logitech-owned audio brand Jaybird have announced a new partnership between their MySound audio app and music streaming company Spotify that will see their MySound app get a major new feature.

As put by the company, “The Jaybird MySound App already lets users customise their tunes, giving them the option of, say, adding extra bass or making those highs clearer. This update is the next step for Jaybird: the brand’s first app feature to link music and sport.”

“Basically, your beloved buds and your running experience just got better. The update means extra musical motivation but also extra convenience. No need to switch between apps while running anymore. No more risk of tripping while looking at your phone. Just one app that puts you in the zone and keeps you running.”

The app now allows you to both share your Spotify playlists with other users of the app and experience the shared playlists of other MySound users.

Jaybird’s X3 earbuds, designed for use with the app, are available exclusively through JB Hi-Fi at an RRP of $199.95.
